We cannot escape our inner demons by simply avoiding them. Whether it's a fear, a past trauma, or a negative belief we hold about ourselves, running away will only perpetuate our suffering. Instead, Seneca urges us to confront these inner struggles directly, to turn and face them with courage and honesty. By doing so, we can cultivate greater self-awareness and inner strength, and find greater peace and fulfillment in our lives.
